Admins can now tailor how Baselayer screens and matches for their organization, from the new Settings tab in the console.
Watchlist Screening: choose which lists your business searches screen against (OFAC, PEP, the Consolidated Screening List, FBI Wanted, Canadian sanctions and HHS OIG exclusions), and set the match sensitivity, meaning how close a name has to be before it is reported as a hit. A higher percentage returns fewer, more exact matches. Every list is on by default, with a 95% threshold.
Lien Matching: choose which looser debtor-name matches a lien search returns in addition to exact matches: alternative names such as DBAs, names that differ only in their legal suffix, fuzzy matches, and collapsed initialisms. Every option is off by default, so your results don’t change unless you turn one on.
