Every registration returned by
GET /businesses/{id}, GET /businesses/{id}/registrations and GET /registrations/{id} now carries last_annual_report_date (for example 2026-04-15).
A business that stops filing annual reports may have stopped operating, often before the state changes its status. That makes this date a useful freshness signal next to the registration’s status.
Where the state publishes the date a report was filed, that is the date returned. Where the state publishes only the next due date or the period a report covers, the date is our best estimate of when the report was filed. The field is null when the state publishes neither, or the registration has not filed a report yet.
In the console, each Secretary of State filing shows a new Last Annual Filing row under Date Filed.
No integration changes required.
