You can now create a UCC-3 amendment filing draft on its own, before the initial (UCC-1) filing it amends has been created in Baselayer. The draft starts without a linked parent; you attach the parent afterward with an initial-filing lookup by file number and file date. Until an initial filing is linked, the draft cannot reference parties or be submitted, and the linked initial filing supplies the filing's state.
Standalone draft creation selects the filing type (UCC-1 or UCC-3); requests that omit the type continue to create a UCC-1, so existing integrations are unchanged.
No integration changes required for existing filings — the new capability is additive.
