# Business Auto.Complete

> Jul 6, 2026

A new autocomplete endpoint returns type-ahead business suggestions as a user types, making it easy to build a "search-as-you-type" business picker instead of a blank text field:

`GET /autocomplete?q={query}`

Each suggestion includes the business name and identifying details you can use to pre-populate a downstream Business Search. See the new [Business Autocomplete endpoint](https://docs.baselayer.com/api-reference/business-autocomplete/autocomplete.md).
