# Ad-Hoc Lien Search

**Ad-hoc lien search** is now available directly in the Console. Search UCC lien filings by business or person name across one or more states without first creating a business profile: submit a search, watch results come back per state, and browse a paginated, searchable history of your previous ad-hoc searches.

Each result links through to a full lien filing detail view: parties, amendments, collateral, and the filed document.

The same capability is available programmatically. Start a search with `POST /lien_searches/adhoc`, poll `GET /lien_searches/adhoc/{id}` for its results, and list prior searches with `GET /lien_searches/adhoc` (now with cursor-based pagination and a name/ID filter). Each search is billed per selected state. See [Liens](https://docs.baselayer.com/docs/lien-search-basics.md).

No integration changes required.
